A Lesson Plan Model According to the Formative Evaluation Strategy

Main Teaching Points: "had better", Question tags (No answer) & 's or s'.

Objectives:
1. Forming sentences using "had better" correctly.
2. Forming questions expecting the answer (No) correctly.
3. Recognizing singular possessive ('s) correctly.
4. Identify plural possessive (s') correctly.
Background Knowledge:
1. Matching the right pronoun with the suitable verb to be.
2. Yes / No questions.
3. The meaning of "had better"
4. Possessive (s) with singular nouns.
Anticipated Difficulties:
1. Confusion between had in the past tense and "had better" which indicate the present or the future.
2. Mixing between the use of (s) to form the plural nouns and the use of (s) to indicate the possession of things.
3. Using (,) instead of (').
4. Getting lost between ('s) and (s').
Assessing Background Knowledge
The first work sheet, which handles the anticipated difficulties, will be introduced. It will be entitled under "Background Knowledge Assessment Activity".
Remedial Work Related to the Background Knowledge:
A work sheet will be introduced. It will include remedial activities. (If needed)
